Family fun at the Rex this Christmas

We all love Christmas and time off from work, however there is no denying that when its cold outside and the kids are underfoot it can get a little bit stressful and boring. If your house is anything like mine in the lead up to the big day your not allowed to move anything or eat anything as suddenly every item in the house ‘is for Christmas!’ – yes I am one of those mums!!

Save yourself the stress and arguments and get yourself down to the Rex this holiday season. I’ve booked for my husband to take the kids to see Clifford the big red dog on Christmas eve. Its a total win win of a situation: they get a fun couple of hours out and I can finishing wrapping presents and no one gets in trouble for eating the Christmas crisps! There are Christmas eve specials on all day with for great prices including snacks and drinks for Clifford the big red dog, West side story & Spiderman.

There’s a great range of films on in the run up to Christmas with classics like the Muppets Christmas carol, Home Alone, It’s a wonderful life and even a pizza club special of the greatest Christmas movie of all time Die Hard! (you won’t change my mind it is a Christmas movie haha!) You also have new releases including Spiderman – No way home & Disney’s latest release Encanto to choose from.

The Rex will only be closed on Christmas Day but back open from Boxing Day with showings available of West side story, Spiderman and Clifford the big red dog through to New Years Eve, were we also see the launch of The Matrix: Resurrections.
