LJ Natural was established in Wilmslow in 2009 by Lisa Johnson, a qualified clinical aromatherapist, after experiencing years of skin problems. She only uses the highest quality ingredients (certified organic, wherever possible) and finest, freshest essential oils to create the products; they are free from sulphates, parabens, MI, petro-chemicals, artificial colour and fragrance and all synthetic ingredients.
LJ natural are completely opposed to animal testing and ensure that all their ingredients are cruelty-free too. Ingredients are ethically sourced and wherever possible we support other small UK companies.
Sustainability is absolutely central to LJ natural – all products are plastic free, there is a range of zero waste products and Lisa offsets the very minimal carbon emissions so the whole business is carbon neutral. All products are vegetarian, and most are vegan – a small amount of sustainably sourced beeswax is used in three products. Supporting bees is extremely important to the brand – we have a bee hive in our garden.
