Superhero Summer Camp 

Looking for something ‘way better’ to do this summer? On August 17th, from 11 am – 3 pm, superheroes take Wilmslow.
Thor will be taking a break from promoting his summer blockbuster “Love & Thunder” to come to Wilmslow in search of some up-and-coming superheroes!


He’ll be joined by his good friend Spiderman and DC’s Superman and Wonder Woman; together, they’ll be sharing their super skills by leading interactive workshops. Children participating in the workshops will learn ALL the moves needed to become a superhero in training, earning a medal at the end!


Fancy dress is not necessary but highly encouraged!!

 

Restaurants

 

Revolution – From food and drink to photo booths, Revolution in Wilmslow has it all. Their cocktails are expertly crafted with only the best products by the best people to ensure you have an unforgettable experience every time you visit. But do you know they have a fantastic Wednesday deal? You can get a burger with any cocktail or beer for only £10, so make sure you drop in for this mid-week saviour. 

 

King William – The King William is a friendly pub based in the heart of Wilmslow, which offers boasting 6 letting bedrooms with a large car park and hidden courtyard, perfect for those summer evenings. You can even bring your little ones and enjoy all their delicious food and refreshing drinks from their kids’ menu! 

 

The Grove – Brunch by day, live music and dining by night. The Grove based on 72 Grove Street, has recently opened their beautifully green beer garden, perfect for Britain’s unpredictable heatwaves! They also have a fantastic foragers brunch menu, available from 10:30 – 4:30pm, so make sure you’re the first to grab a seat before it fills up.  

 

The Rex Cinema 

 

Ever been to The Rex Cinema? Well, you’re in for a treat. The Rex opened way back in 1937 with a showing of Errol Flynn in “Captain Blood,” but is now owned by The Mundin family, who keeps it up to date with the latest and greatest films and stunning interior. They even have seats named after your favourite film characters to give you a real feel for the film! So why not take the kids to see DC League Of Super-Pets?

 

Buzzy Bee Bakery

 

Melt in the mouth of goods in the heart of Wilmslow! If you’re a big fan of stuffed cookies, brownies and chocolate, then Buzzy Bee Bakery will be heaven for you! They specialise in creating delicious treats to lose yourself in; you’ll enter a state of pure bliss for just one bite. Everything they bake is freshly made to order, so you’re guaranteed a high-quality treat simply bursting with goodness. So head down with the kids this weekend to see what they have on offer!
