At Wilmslow Youth, we believe every young person deserves to feel seen, supported, and inspired. Since 2016, we’ve grown into a community hub for young people and families in our town—offering a safe space, a listening ear, and real help through our drop-in youth café, counselling services, workshops and more.
Now, we’re looking for someone very special to join us.
We’re on the search for a Youth Community Lead—a compassionate, energetic, and visionary individual who’s passionate about helping young people thrive. Someone who can lead with heart, think creatively, and meet young people where they are.
🌱 What’s the role?
You’ll be leading our youth café and developing new programmes that help build friendships, boost confidence, and create positive life experiences. You’ll also support young people who are disengaged from school due to mental ill-health, helping them reconnect through community drop-in sessions.
But it doesn’t stop there—you’ll play a key part in delivering our Year 6 transition programme, supporting over 300 local students as they move from primary to secondary school. There may also be opportunities to offer 1-to-1 mentoring with high school students who just need someone in their corner.

If you’re a natural leader with a background in youth work or community support, and you’re ready to make a genuine difference, we’d love to hear from you.

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (pro-rata)

Hours: 24–40 per week (3–5 days) – minimum Wednesday to Friday plus Friday evenings (term time)
