TEMPO Youth Theatre Presents Sister Act in Wilmslow TEMPO
One of the region’s most vibrant youth musical theatre groups, is bringing the hit feel good musical Sister Act to the Evans Theatre in Wilmslow for five nights of uplifting music, big laughs, and brilliant performances.
Based on the much loved 1992 film, Sister Act follows Deloris Van Cartier, a disco diva whose life takes an unexpected turn when she witnesses a crime and is placed into protective custody in the most unlikely of places, a convent. As Deloris helps the convent’s struggling choir find its voice, she discovers the power of friendship, community, and confidence, with Motown, soul and gospel inspired music throughout.
