Wilmslow Town Mayor, Councillor Sally Harrison, said, “We are excited to host Wilmslow’s very first Community Group Fair, giving residents the opportunity to see just how many fantastic groups are available to get involved with locally.

“Whether people are looking to meet new friends, learn something new, volunteer for a local cause, access support or simply feel more connected to their community, there will be something for everyone at the Fair.

“Wilmslow Town Council is thrilled to expand our support for local groups, who enrich our town so much, and we can’t wait to see them showcased at this free event.

“Our thanks go to the groups supporting our Community Coordinator with the planning of the fair, which include Wilmslow Youth, RSPCA, Cheshire A Cappella, Alderley & District Scouts and Wilmslow Pride CIC, and to Wilmslow URC for kindly offering their church halls free of charge.

“Come along on Sunday 8th March and find your place, passion or people to begin a new journey.”
