🚴♂️ From Lake Garda to Milan: Local Team Cycles Over 580KM for CAFT
The team at S&G Response have just completed an incredible cycling challenge in support of The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) – and what a journey it’s been!
Covering over 580km and climbing an epic 17,500 feet, our four-strong team of non-professional cyclists pedalled their way through some of Europe’s most breathtaking scenery, all to raise vital funds for this incredible North West charity.
Their route started at the picturesque Lake Garda in Italy, winding through Lake Como and Lake Lugano, before crossing the border into Switzerland. After three intense days on the road, they reached Lake Maggiore, finishing on day four in Milan – an emotional and well-earned finale.
Why we did it…
CAFT provides unforgettable day trips, short breaks and respite care for children with complex medical needs, disabilities, or social disadvantage. The charity relies entirely on donations to deliver these life-changing experiences to the children who need them most.
So far, the S&G Response Team have raised an impressive £7,842, with the goal of hitting £10,000 within the next few weeks.
💛 You can still donate and help them reach their target
Wilmslow is incredibly proud of the team’s dedication, determination and spirit. Every kilometre they rode helps bring more joy, adventure and relief to children facing real challenges.
Let’s help them cross the finish line. Please share, donate, and support if you can.
