🎄 The S&G Response Christmas Appeal: Spreading Kindness Across Wilmslow This Festive Season
As the festive season approaches, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of gifts, gatherings and celebrations. But for many people across our community, Christmas can be a difficult time. That’s why S&G Response is once again launching its Christmas Appeal, bringing together local residents and businesses to share kindness and give back to those who need it most.
Running from 1st November to 14th December, the appeal will support three incredible local causes each making a real difference in their own way.
🎒 The Wellspring Rucksack Project
Homelessness continues to affect too many people in our region, and The Wellspring Rucksack Project provides vital support and practical help to those without a home. This Christmas, S&G Response is collecting essential items such as rucksacks, toiletries, warm clothing, and non-perishable food. Every donation helps someone stay warm and cared for during the cold winter months.
🎁 The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust
Few things capture the spirit of Christmas like seeing a child’s face light up with joy. That’s why we’re collecting selection boxes and new toys for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, which provides memorable experiences and support for children living with disabilities or facing difficult circumstances. Your gift could help make their Christmas a magical one.
📚 Books for Children
Did you know that only 1 in 5 children from underprivileged areas own their own book? This year, we’re also supporting a Books for Children drive, helping schools and charities share the gift of reading. By donating a new book, you can help a child discover imagination, confidence, and the joy of storytelling.

Drop off your donations at S&G Response, St Ann’s Parade, 14 Alderley Rd, Wilmslow, SK9 1HG between 7.45am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, from 1st November to 14th December.
Whether you bring a toy, a rucksack or a book, your contribution will help brighten someone’s Christmas.
