The Lindow CC committee are delighted to announce that after a lot of hard work behind the scenes that it has been agreed that Wilmslow CC will merge into Lindow CC in time for the 2026 season.
We hope that this will be the start of an incredibly exciting time for cricket in Wilmslow. Lindow CC will look to build on the amazing foundations in place at Rectory Field where we will be investing in the medium term as we look to further promote cricketing excellence in Wilmslow.
Lindow CC currently has 650 members made up of senior men and women players, junior girls and boys and social members and have significant support at all the home games, and with over 5000 social media followers are probably one of the best supported local clubs.
The merged club will have 6 senior men’s teams, 4 senior women’s teams providing an excellent pathway for our 32 junior boys and girls teams. Our mens 1st team gained promotion to the Cheshire premier league in 2024 and were finalists in the Cheshire Cup in 2025 while the womens 1st team were Cheshire champions. We are all very excited to see where the 2026 season takes us.
