Superheroes, Doctor Who and Sci-Fi Icons Confirmed for Wilmslow Comic Con 2026

Wilmslow Comic Con is back for 2026 and it is set to be bigger, bolder and packed with unmissable sci‑fi and superhero action. Taking place on Saturday 25th April 2026, this FREE, family-friendly event will once again transform Wilmslow town centre into a celebration of comics, film, TV and pop culture.

Building on the huge success of the inaugural event in 2025, Wilmslow Comic Con 2026 promises an action-packed day for fans of all ages, with iconic characters, immersive experiences and plenty to explore throughout the town.

A sci-fi spectacular comes to Wilmslow

Fans of Doctor Who can step into one of Britain’s most loved sci‑fi worlds with the return of the iconic Daleks and a life-sized Tardis, offering fantastic photo opportunities and interactive moments for visitors.

Elsewhere in the town centre, a dedicated Star Wars zone will feature an impressive X-Wing Starfighter, bringing a galaxy far, far away right into the heart of Wilmslow.

Superheroes, Transformers and roaming characters

Comic Con favourites will be out in force throughout the day, with colourful characters roaming the town centre and creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

Visitors can expect to see:

– Superheroes including Batman, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman and Captain America

– Transformers favourites Optimus Prime and Bumblebee

Plenty of chances for photos, meet and greets and spontaneous moments of fun.

Whether you are a lifelong fan or introducing little ones to their first Comic Con, there is something for every generation to enjoy.

Family fun and a FREE superhero workshop

Wilmslow Comic Con is designed with families firmly in mind. A FREE superhero workshop for children will give young fans the chance to get creative, learn new skills and fully immerse themselves in the Comic Con experience.

Alongside this, a dedicated Comic Con trader market will showcase stalls specialising in comics, collectables, merchandise and memorabilia inspired by sci‑fi, film and TV.

The Comic Con trader market will be a must-visit part of the day, bringing together a brilliant mix of stalls selling collectables, merchandise and memorabilia inspired by comics, sci‑fi, film and TV. Visitors can browse everything from rare finds and fan favourites to gifts and display pieces, with traders located throughout Wilmslow town centre to create a lively, market-style atmosphere alongside the main Comic Con attractions.

Wilmslow Comic Con is proudly delivered by Wilmslow’s Way Better, funded through the Wilmslow Business Improvement District (BID). The event forms part of the BID’s ongoing programme to support local businesses, encourage footfall and create memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.
