Wilmslow Easter Trail 2026

Find the bunny, spot the egg and enjoy the town centre this Easter with the family.

UK shoppers spent a record £100 million on Easter eggs and confectionery in the week leading up to Easter in 2024, which tells you one thing, Easter is not just a weekend, it is a proper season.

In Wilmslow, that seasonal buzz is exactly what the Easter Trail is all about, giving families a fun reason to come into town, explore on foot, and enjoy a low pressure activity that works just as well for an after school wander as it does for a full weekend day out.

This post is your simple, practical guide to how the trail works, where to find the bunnies, which windows are taking part, and what you need to do to enter the competition.

What the Wilmslow Easter Trail is

The Wilmslow Easter Trail is a town centre activity designed for families and anyone who enjoys a bit of seasonal fun. The trail combines two things, a bunny and Easter egg spotter challenge in selected shop windows. The idea is simple, you follow the map, find the bunnies, tick them off as you go, and then complete the window section by recording what you spot. It is friendly, free, and easy to fit around your normal day, which is exactly why it works.

How the trail works

The easiest way to think about the trail is in two parts. Part one, you use the trail sheet and map to locate the bunnies placed at participating locations. As you find each bunny, you tick it off on your sheet. Part two is the Easter egg window challenge. You visit the selected windows and complete the Easter egg section by drawing or writing what you can see. Once your sheet is complete, you can enter the competition by submitting it at the end.  If you are planning your route, you can do the whole thing in one go, or you can  trips, which is ideal if you have younger children or you want to combine it with shopping, lunch, or sports activities.
