Wilmslow’s Edward Doyle Takes on Back-to-Back Marathons for Retina UK – Local Businesses Rally with Raffle Prizes
Wilmslow Optician and runner is taking on an extraordinary challenge in 2026, completing two full marathons in just one week, all in aid of Retina UK, the national charity supporting those living with inherited sight loss.
Edward will first tackle the Manchester Marathon, followed a week later by the London Marathon, pushing his endurance to the limit to raise vital funds and awareness for the charity. His determination has already inspired fantastic support from Wilmslow’s independent businesses and beyond.
