Help Us Paint Wilmslow Pink This October

Wilmslow is turning pink this October as businesses, organisations and residents come together to support Prevent Breast Cancer.

Paint Wilmslow Pink will run throughout 1–31 October 2026, encouraging the town to embrace all things pink while raising funds and awareness for breast cancer prevention.

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer affecting women in the UK, with around 1 in 7 women developing the disease during their lifetime. The campaign supports Prevent Breast Cancer’s ambition to fund research that could one day help make breast cancer a preventable disease.

How Can You Get Involved?

The great thing about Paint Wilmslow Pink is that there is no single way to take part.

Businesses and community groups can make their involvement as simple or as ambitious as they like.

You might create a pink shop window, hold a coffee morning or cake sale, organise a raffle or quiz night, introduce a pink cocktail, ask your team to dress in pink, or come up with a completely different idea.

The aim is simply to have some fun, get people talking and help support an important cause.

The campaign is also a great opportunity for Wilmslow businesses to work together and create a visible splash of colour throughout the town.

From windows and displays to special products, events and fundraising activities, the more businesses that take part, the greater the impact we can create.
