New banking hub opens to Wilmslow town centre

A new banking hub has opened on Grove Street, bringing shared banking services and face-to-face support to Wilmslow’s high street.

Delivered by Cash Access UK, the hub will occupy the former NatWest premises at 4–6 Grove Street.

Everyday banking in one place

The hub offers a counter service operated by the Post Office, where customers of major banks and building societies can carry out everyday transactions.

Services include cash withdrawals, cash and cheque deposits, balance checks and bill payments. Registered businesses will also be able to access change-giving services.

Services and transaction limits vary between banks, so customers should check with their own provider.

Face-to-face support

Community bankers will attend on a rotating schedule, offering private conversations about more detailed enquiries, including account management, payments and online banking.

The participating banks and their attendance days will be announced closer to the time, so please check in branch for details.

A useful addition to the high street

Following local bank branch closures, the hub will give residents and businesses another way to access cash and in-person banking support in the town centre.
