Refresh your wardrobe and discover creative ways to give clothes a second life at Transition Wilmslow’s free Slow Fashion Event.
The evening brings together clothes swapping, local sustainable fashion stalls and an art exhibition by local schoolchildren exploring the impact of fast fashion. There will also be tea, coffee and cake to enjoy.
Taking part in the clothes swap? Bring up to six pre-loved items of men’s, women’s or children’s clothing, all in good condition and free from stains or rips. Hand them to the volunteers when you arrive, then browse the rails for something to take home.
Stalls will include upcycled clothing, pre-loved occasionwear, handmade accessories and jewellery created from reclaimed materials.
