Wilmslow’s Way Better is gearing up for a host of fantastic live music performances, family-friendly activities and fabulous food and drink at the first ever Wilmslow Live event on Saturday 25th May 2024.

Organised by Wilmslow Business Improvement District (BID), on behalf of Wilmslow town centre businesses, the event will celebrate the very best in local talent. The main stage in Bank Square, hosted by Silk FM and sponsored by Orbit Developments, will see live performances from 12pm – 6pm, with KJP & The Divas kicking things off, followed by performances from Aura Music Academy, Wilmslow High School’s Sunstate Band, all-female Siren Sounds choir and Alderley and Wilmslow Musical Theatre Group.

Singer songwriter Jess Scragg, soul and funk band Violet Line and Indie folk/pop musician Black Sheep Lad complete the line-up, providing visitors with a wonderful array of music throughout the day. There’s plenty to keep the kids entertained too with the Wilmslow ‘24 Family Fun Zone, located in Bank Square and at the bottom of Green Lane. Sponsored by handcrafted furniture retailer, Arlo & Jacob, activities will include mini golf, free face painting, games and balloon modelling. Arlo & Jacob are also giving one lucky shopper a chance to win their very own bespoke sofa!
