Wilmslow Live is Wilmslow’s free live music festival, bringing a full day of live entertainment and activity into the town centre. It’s become one of the standout dates in the local calendar because it’s built around three things that work every time: great live music, a welcoming family feel and a town centre atmosphere that encourages people to stay longer, explore more and enjoy Wilmslow at its best.

When and where it’s happening

Wilmslow Live 2026 takes place on Saturday 6th June 2026, running 12pm to 7pm, with Bank Square and a second stage at the top of Grove Street by Aura Ba, transforming into a lively open-air festival destination.

The music, confirmed artists and what to expect

The festival programme runs across the afternoon and early evening, with a line-up featuring emerging artists, local bands and crowd-pleasing performers. Already confirmed are Heidi Anne, The Inflorescence, Cherry Red, The Recliners and AWMTC (Alderley and Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company).

Heidi Anne

Heidi Anne is an international singer-songwriter specialising in soulful, R&B-infused pop. As both an originals and cover artist, she delivers powerful, emotional performances and has built a reputation for compelling live sets that mix heart, energy and serious vocals.

The Inflorescence

The Inflorescence are a rising indie-rock band from Holmes Chapel, formed in 2024 by students from Sir John Deane’s College. Their influences include The Smiths, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Oasis and they’ve been gaining attention following the release of their debut studio singles earlier this year. Expect an energetic live set, with a mix of indie favourites and original material.

K-Pop Demon Hunters

The K-Pop demon hunters tribute act will be brining energy to the stage, this trio will bring K-pop to Wilmslow.

The Recliners

The Recliners are a five-piece group bringing an acoustic twist to favourite songs across the decades, blending guitar, bass and harmonica with rich vocal harmonies, plus a few originals for good measure. If you like singalong moments and a warm, crowd-friendly sound, this is one to catch.

Cherry Red

Cherry Red are local favourites and a perfect fit for a town centre festival crowd, the kind of act that helps keep the vibe upbeat and the square full. More acts will be announced, and the line-up is designed to keep the town centre feeling lively right through the day.

AWMTC (Alderley and Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company)

AWMTC is bringing From Screen to Stage to Wilmslow Live, a high-energy musical revue celebrating some of the greatest songs from film and theatre, with plenty of big moments and crowd-pleasing favourites.
